Last Thursday, top prospect and Memphis basketball recruit,

Mikey Williams, was arrested in San Diego on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. There was an altercation at his home where shots were fired at a car with multiple minors in it. Police were called and Williams was arrested after a search warrant was executed.He was then released Friday on a $50,000 bond. After this incident he now faces up to multiple counts of assault with a deadly weapon. This all a bad look for Mikey Williams with him being one of the top basketball recruits in his class. This also affects Memphis as they now have an tough decision to make. For Mikey to be the promising player that he is, he may have jeopardized his future just like that. We are seeing situations like this more often with Guns and basketball players. Recently we have seen  Memphis Grizzlies, Ja Morant and Alabama’s Brandon Miller both get in some trouble over guns. With this stuff going on you would think Williams would stay away from this kind of stuff but I guess not. Maybe he will find a way out of this but hopefully this is a lesson for him, and he will make better decisions regarding his future from here on out.

African American baseball player, by the name of Jackie Robinson broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier on April 15, 1947. This day in MLB history marked a pivotal moment in the segregation of the MLB and would change the MLB forever. This wasn’t any ordinary task and Jackie Robinson seemed to be the guy for the job. Jalen Hurts in question for Contract extension by Eagles after stellar Super Bowl performance
